What to Expect

The initial visit will be spent gathering background information and beginning to develop goals, as well as discussing strategies for future sessions. I often provide “homework”, such as relaxation exercises or coping strategies, to practice between sessions to ensure the benefits of therapy carry over to day to day life. When working with children, I work closely with parents to ensure the techniques I use in therapy can be implemented at home as well.

  • Payment can be by cash, check, credit card, or health savings account card.
  • I do not bill insurance directly, but you may ask your carrier about reimbursement.
  • Reduced fees based on need are available on a limited basis.
