Therapy

I provide therapy that is tailored to each individual’s specific needs. With this in mind, I offer several choices for therapy to enhance comfort and accessibility. Options include office appointments, telehealth appointments, and walk and talk appointments at a local park.

The initial visit will be spent gathering background information and beginning to develop goals, as well as discussing strategies for future sessions. I often provide “homework”, such as relaxation exercises or coping strategies, to practice between sessions to ensure the benefits of therapy carry over to day to day life.

  • The cost of a 50-minute therapy session is $150.
  • Payment can be by cash, check, credit card, or health savings account card.
  • I do not bill insurance directly, but you may ask your carrier about reimbursement.
  • Reduced fees for therapy are available on a limited basis, based on need.

What type of therapy is best for me?

Office appointments are best if you are most at ease talking in person in a comfortable indoor setting.

Telehealth appointments are a good option to reduce travel time if you have a good internet connection and access to a private area in your home or office.

Walk and talk appointments can be beneficial if you are most comfortable talking while being physically active or being outdoors. We will walk at a pace you set on easy paths at a local park. If you are interested in walk and talk therapy, we will discuss whether this is a good fit for you on our first appointment, which will be either in office or by telehealth. In case of inclement weather, we will meet by telehealth.
